Welcome to my universe. For me, everything revolves around beauty and wishing to understand. What are we made of? What does the universe look like? This has led me to practice numerous art forms, make picture books and organise congresses. However, my central question is:
How do we protect our wonderful blue planet?
When I stand on the shore late at noon and look at the shimmering and glittering water and the endless waves rolling towards me, I become calm.
Can I bring my pictures to life?
Yes it is possible! It all starts with the light, where it falls with its power, colour is no longer possible. Around these light spots, wafer-thin layers of pigment are applied on top of each other, and held together and fixed with egg, oil and water. Actually, there is no such thing as color,
but rather of individual pigment particles that correspond with each other. This is not a painting but a piece of our planet.
Only when we are overwhelmed by the beauty of our nature and cherish it in its autonomy will we protect it.
